Problem solved! If you are so cash strapped you can't afford to toss the devs twenty bucks here & there, you probably shouldn't be playing. If you take some kind of offense to them trying to turn a profit, then you can uninstall the game. You have to play a lot & learn the nuances of each & every hole & green, especially if you want to be successful at Tour 8 & above. News flash morons, that's the whole point! The developers spent a LOT of time & money creating this game! Yes, the more money you spend the better equipped your clubs are & the more premium balls you will have, but that will only take you so far. WOW! Can't believe the amount of whiny baby complaining going on here about the developers trying to make money. I thought I was mistaken with the first player but the second player did it on consecative shots. Then instead of docking them a stroke it gave them the ball in a location where it was a great shot. I have played against two people that would hook it into the water on purpose. Was this some kind of cheat or was it just a glitch in the game? The put should have gone miles wide but instead it went straight into the hole. A player with a very high win ratio was putting from a reasonable distance, he didn't take any time with the putt, just hit it straight away even though the arrows had not lined up. I myself witnessed something very suspicious last week when playing. It is thought that this new policy is to make it easier to keep track of players and more to the point, keep track of any potential suspicious play. This meant you could play a different username each time you played if you wished. Under the old system you could change your player name whenever you felt like it. When entering a player name there was a note made that this would no longer be able to be changed once confirmed. When logging in today players were asked to change their player name. The quality of your ball striking, and how honest you are about your distances are the main factors you should take into account.Since writing this article there has been an interesting change you may have noticed on the Golf Clash game. In summary, I wouldn’t put too much emphasis on changes in weather and how they will affect your ball flight. #Wind adjustment golf clash wind chart free#Check out my free eBook on course strategy to learn more. Being honest with your distances on the course, and selecting an appropriate club based on how far you will likely hit the ball, not how far you will hit it on your best swing. To me this continues to be one of the most important skills of a smart course manager. That’s why I wrote this article, and it’s not a surprise that GAME GOLF has found that on average 94% of golfers miss greens on the short side because of this. Let’s face it, most of us are overstating how far we hit the ball. Most golfers aren’t realistic with their distances. Wind and altitude have a much larger impact on your ball flight, and for most golfers wind is really the culprit. OK now that we’ve established you can’t really blame the weather for your distances, what can you blame? You’re not likely to see anything more than 2-3 yards at most. ![]() ![]() Typically you won’t be going through radical changes in temperature between rounds that are going to change the distance your ball is traveling so I believe anyone’s perceived changes are a bit overblown (myself included). The rule of thumb is that for about every 10 degrees you can expect a change of about a yard. #Wind adjustment golf clash wind chart driver#Going from 40 to 100 degrees will increase a 6-iron carry by 8 yards and a driver by 9 yards. Temperature changes do have the greatest affect on ball flight, but it might not be as much as you think. Personally I think I have noticed considerable differences in the distance my ball is traveling in cold weather. This is the one that is the most important. It will account for less than a yard of difference. I’ve actually never heard a golfer refer to a low-pressure system as the reason their approach shots landed short of the green, but hey I’m sure it’s occurred somewhere.Īir pressure has pretty much no effect on your ball flight either. According to Trackman’s data, a change from 10% to 90% humidity will account for less than a yard of difference on a 6-iron. The more humid it is, the farther your ball will travel. #Wind adjustment golf clash wind chart tv#Just last week I heard a broadcaster on TV talking about this during a tournament when a player’s ball landed short of the green. The conventional wisdom is that if it’s extremely humid the ball will not fly as far because the air feels heavier. Let’s take a look at how each of them will affect how far your golf ball is flying. The key factors for air density are humidity, air pressure, and temperature. When the air is denser, it creates more resistance and the ball will fly a bit higher and not travel as far. ![]()
